Tinubu reforms bringing more hunger, hardship to Nigerians -ADC

The North Central leader of the African Democratic Congress and a two term Senator and Military administrator, Senator Tunde Ogbeha has said the reforms of the All Progressives Congress(APC) led by President Bola Tinubu has not done anything to better the lots of Nigerians, saying instead it has spread more poverty, hunger and hardship to the masses.

Ogbeha  who made this declaration over the weekend during the official unveiling of ADC in the western senatorial district of Kogi State which held in Kabba, said of what use is a reform which impoverises its citizens and renders its currency almost worthless.

He stressed that in the history of Nigeria, the level of poverty and hardships of Nigerians coupled with the frequent killings of innocent souls have not been so pronounced, adding that the APC has woefully failed Nigerians.

Ogbeha stressed that the only party that can rescue Nigeria from the catastrophe is the ADC  and urged everyone to join hands with the party to usher in a better Nigeria where there will be peace, tranquility and prosperity.

While saying the ADC will participate in the forthcoming local government council election in the state, he used the occasion to inaugurate a five man committee headed by Mrs Justina Abanida to screen aspirants of the party to produce candidates of honour and good character for the council poll

The ADC leader also told the party supporters that the expulsion of Leke Abejide representing Yagba federal constituency from the party has been ratified by the national working committee and he can therefore not seek any elective post through the party.

Also speaking on the occasion, Senator Dino Melaye stressed that ADC has all it takes to root out the ruling party from Aso rock and government House, Lokoja in 2027, and urged party members to be steadfast and focused for the battle ahead.

On his part, the former governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, Olayinka Braimoh said the repression, oppression and suppression of the ruling party was coming to an end as the ADC was set to rescue Nigeria from bad governance.

He called on the people of the area to throng out in large numbers to take the membership registration of the ADC, saying the party is the last hope of Nigerians and urged them not be left behind in the rescue mission.

The state chairman of the party in the state, Kingsley Temitope Ogah who expressed satisfaction over the turn out of the people, said the unveiling of the party in the western senatorial district has signalled full blown activities of the party in the state.

The Chairman stressed that both the eastern and central senatorial districts have carried out their unveiling, and urged party members to be united, focused and be of one accord to ensure the party wins both the presidency and Kogi governorship  in the 2027 general elections.
