Tinubu in Kano, says he will miss Dantata

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, Friday in Kano renewed his condolences to the family of the elder statesman and business mogul, Late Aminu Alhassan Dantata, who passed away a few days ago in Dubai, United Arab Emirate, at the age of 94.

Accompanied by top government and party officials, the president extended his condolences when he paid a visit to the family of the deceased at Koki Quarters inside Kano City, where he declared that he will truly miss the deceased.

He described Dantata’s death as a personal loss to him and his family, noting that the late business tycoon was very close to his family.

 

Tinubu recalled that ahead of the 2023 Presidential elections, he had sought prayers of the late Aminu Dantata, adding that the deceased gave him his blessings without hesitation.

Tinubu also lauded the deceased’s generously and philanthropy, saying he was so committed to the great value of the country.

Tinubu arrived the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport late afternoon on Friday and was received by the state Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf , the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibril and a host of officials from the state government and the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

The President departed the state soon after the condolence visit to the bereaved family.
