Ododo Flags Off 7.2 Idah Township Road Construction, Transforms Infrastructure

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Tuesday flagged off the construction of 7.2 Idah township roads.
Governor Ododo thanked the people of Kogi East for their support for his administration, noting that he is available to fulfill all his electioneering promises for the people of the state.
He also eulogized the former Governor of Kogi State, Alh Yahaya Bello for laying the foundation of all the developmental activities Kogi is witnessing today.
The governor expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for all his supports that are making the people of the state happy always.
The governor said that the construction project is expected to significantly improve the state’s infrastructure, enhance transportation, and boost economic activities in Idah and its environs.
His words: “This flag off is going to stimulate the economic activities of this place; on behalf of the people of Kogi State and my entire team, I flag off the internal roads of Idah Local Government Area to the glory of God Almighty and to the benefit of mankind.”
While addressing Journalists, the Managing Director of Kogi State Road Maintenance Agency (KOGROMA), Engr Dr. Yunusa Alhassan thanked Governor Ododo for his commitment to the development of infrastructures in Kogi State. He also assured the people of Idah Local Government that the job would be executed in accordance with the specifications’ timeframe of the project.
The project is part of the state government’s efforts to promote development and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
The roads to be constructed are:
Igalaogba — Angwa — Inachalo Junction
Sabongari — St Boniface — Ega market Junction.
The others are St Michael — Ukwaja — St Peter’s road and Ukwaja Junction — Attah — Idah Club road.
