As we enter a new year, we greet every Biafran at home and across the world with hope, courage and unshaken faith. This journey has never been easy, but we remain resolute and unwavering. We know that everything worthy of honour demands sacrifice, and we are prepared to give whatever we must for the full restoration of Biafra to the glory of Almighty God, Chukwu Okike Abiama.
Freedom is never cheap. It comes with suffering, with pain, with trials, and with tears. But these are the prices every free people have paid at some point in their history. We do not seek flag independence that leaves chains on the soul; we seek true freedom, rooted in justice and dignity. God created us Biafrans as a free people. That is why our ancestors lived without human kings ruling over their spirits. The responsibility to keep that divine order now rests upon this generation. It is our sacred duty to fulfil that promise on earth.
Our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has shown us what leadership and sacrifice truly mean. He has taught us to stand without fear before our enemies, no matter the cost, until Biafra is restored. Our adversaries have tried to break us through lies, through distortion of truth and abuse of the law. But the God who called us has not abandoned us. He remains in control, and so we will not relent until freedom comes — not only for Biafrans, but for every soul trapped inside this failed experiment called Nigeria.
Nigeria has become a cage that crushes human potential and destroys the dignity of every nation within it. Tribes and peoples who would have flourished on their own have been forced into conflict, poverty and confusion. We must, all of us — Biafran and non-Biafran alike — rediscover our humanity. We are not enemies to anyone who seeks justice. We are only enemies to oppression.
We also remember with gratitude those from other ethnic groups who stood up, spoke out and supported our leader when it was dangerous to do so. They reminded us that conscience still exists in this land. For that reason, we must embrace every genuine lover of freedom, no matter their tribe, language or faith. Our struggle is not born out of hatred. It is born out of the desire for life, dignity, and peace.
What we seek is not freedom for ourselves alone. We seek freedom that can ripple across Africa — freedom that restores pride, responsibility and respect for every nation and every people. We move forward into this new year with prayer in our hearts, courage in our spirits, and unity among our people. We will not be broken. We will not be discouraged. We will stand together, trusting that God, who began this work, will perfect it in His own time.
May this year bring strength to the weary, healing to the broken, and clarity to those still in doubt. May Chukwu Okike Abiama bless and keep all Biafrans, and may the dawn of our freedom draw nearer.
