Governor Ododo visits Tinubu, briefs President on Kogi security

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Monday paid a working visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to brief him on the security situation in the Confluence state.
During the visit at the State House, Abuja, Governor Ododo expressed gratitude for the President’s consistent support, particularly in strengthening security operations across the state.
The governor conveyed the profound appreciation of the government and people of Kogi State to President Tinubu for the approval of the Ajaokuta Economic City (Kogi–Hunan Free Trade Zone), describing it as a transformative project for industrial growth.
In his remarks, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commended Governor Ododo for his robust collaboration with Federal security agencies in addressing security concerns in the state and assured him of the Federal Government’s continued backing.
Both the President and the governor held fruitful discussions aimed at advancing development and improving the well-being of the people of Kogi State.
