FG names Agbor railway station after ex-President Jonathan

Federal Government, Saturday, named the Agbor railway facility and station of the completed Itakpe-Warri standard gauge rail line after former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The already completed rail line project situated in Delta State is currently undergoing test run of the coaches deployed on its tracks which started, Friday.

The facility will now be known as the Goodluck Jonathan Railway Station and Complex, Agbor, Delta State.

Abeyanews reports that making the confirmation, Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, said the station in Agbor which is the biggest in the entire rail line, has now been officially named after Jonathan.

“Today, we continued test-run of our new coaches on the completed Itakpe-Warri standard gauge rail line.

“We’ve named the largest station on this route – the Agbor railway facility and station after former President Goodluck Jonathan,” Amaechi confirmed via his official Twitter handle, Saturday.
