Kogi Governor Commends Tinubu over Abuja-Lokoja Road Reconstruction

Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for showing unparalleled commitment towards the completion of the Abuja-Lokoja road Reconstruction, saying his action has demonstrated his unwavering determination to fix the nation’s infrastructure deficit.
The governor who made this known while inspecting a section of the road at Kotonkarfe in Kogi State said the President represents a “coalition of excellence”.
He thanked the president for his commitment to the service of the country and appreciated the Minister of works, Engr David Umahi for doing a good job so far on the road.
He recalled the insinuation in some quarters that the Abuja-Lokoja road was not economically viable and thanked the president for believing in its potential and strategic importance.
“This is the only road that connects the North and South; in fact, this is the real coalition. We, the people of Kogi State want to thank the president, Bola Tinubu, our father for his commitment to this road.
“This is our own coalition. Those who are shouting coalition, this is the coalition of Mr President. This is what our President is doing and we are grateful to him. This is development and another means of livelihood”, he said.
The governor also commended the Minister of Works, Engr Dave Imahi for his professionalism and the quality of job he is doing on the Abuja-Lokoja road.
